ABOUT USThe Minnesota Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis is excited about the launching of its Program in Psychoanalysis to begin this fall. The program has two main pillars forming its foundation. One pillar comes from what has been learned from infant research, attachment research and longitudinal research into the development of the person as discovered at the University of Minnesota. This understanding of the development of the person has led to the second pillar of support which is the emphasis in the program on contemporary relational approaches to doing psychoanalysis. MICP & P is now accepting applications for its program in Contemporary Psychoanalysis. The program will start the end of September, 2010 and run for 3 years. You can find attached an application form that may be filled out on line or copied, filled out and sent by regular mail. The program has a prerequisite: the completion of our two year Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Program or an alternative: training that is commensurate to the Psychotherapy Program. If you have interest in our training program, please complete the application (see the link) or if you have questions please feel free to contact Gary Perrin the Clinical Director for more information. We have an exciting program planned and one that we are sure you would greatly benefit from and thoroughly enjoy. Along with the link for the application, we are including an attachment that briefly describes the Institute and its history. |
